Training continued.....

Getting fitter and stronger. A 12 mile walk is feeling so much easier now. It is amazing how the body adapts. Legs are looking blotchy and haggered though. Attractive NOT !!!

Weather improving thankfully so plan on doing more after work walks to pick up the mileage. I never realised how time consuming this walking malarky is.  Basic maths.....  12 miles = 3 to 4 hours !!  Doing 4 x 12 mile walks a week is going to be hard to find but I have a master plan...............RUN !!!



Blisters are starting become a problem, having to wear hiking socks causing too much heat maybe..

Training...

18 miles. No pain no gain. But ouch. Got a lot of pain from legs.
