Arrived in Newcastle....

Got to the starting point. Sorted my bag for tomorrow. Early night. Resisted the urge to go out on the lash with a few pints of Newkie Brown !!!

Journey was so relaxing. Trains are great for thinking and chilling

D Day has arrived

Off to Newcastle Upon Tyne today. All the family coming to wave me off. No tears at train station please !! See you on Friday ;).

A sudden landslip has forced the closure of a section of Hadrian's Wall Path between Beaumont and Kirkandrews. Until further notice walkers must follow the road between the two villages (click here for map extract showing diversion and see below for the notice). Notices and maps have been pinned to Trail furniture ahead of the closure.
